Succulent plants have evolved special water storage tissues in their leaves, stems or roots as an adaptation to arid environments allowing them to survive in habitats that are far too dry for most other plants.Cacti & Succulents

What are Succulents?

Succulent plants are water retaining plants adapted to arid climate and soil conditions. They store water in their leaves, stems and roots giving them a swollen or fleshy appearance. Most succulents love full sun and require minimal amounts of water. They are considered to be drought tolerant.

What are Cacti?

All cacti are succulents from the family Cactaceae. They are spiny and usually leafless plants with a variety of large showy colored flowers. They are the most drought resistant plants around. They love the full Texas sun.

If you are a busy person but still enjoy plants, then cacti and succulents are the plants for you.
